My Journey

I started taking photos when I moved to Alaska at 19. I wanted to encourage others to travel more; coming from a small town where few people go further than a few states away, I knew that showing people the world through my photos and videos was powerful.

In 2019, I decided to quit my job, move to New Zealand, and pursue my photo and video career. I learned a lot in a short amount of time; the pandemic and an incredible community in New Zealand helped me grow into who I am today.

I have been back in the US since May 2022, and I now reside in Bend, Oregon. I’m excited to continue exploring and connecting deeply with people and telling their stories, as well as discovering the amazing natural world of Central Oregon and the High Desert.

Behind the Lens

Hi, my name is Justin, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way to my page. I’m a photographer and videographer passionate about showing people the vast landscapes and activities this world has to offer.

I am an avid adventurer in all senses; I enjoy snowboarding, mountaineering, climbing, and backpacking. Being outside (especially in the winter months) brings me immense joy. There's no greater privilege than sharing these moments with the people I love and witnessing others embrace what lights them up.

I strive to make a deep connection between people and nature. I want to use my work to get people outside and help them realize that it’s easier than ever to explore near and far. I want to bring people together to get them outdoors and show them they don’t need any special gear or experience to get started.
